In the summer we usually leave for fishing when it is still dark. I love getting on the water as the sun is rising. It is my favorite time of day. The sky is starting to turn a light blue and then the most brilliant light starts coming over the horizon. It is breath taking. One morning we were out around Barnstable Harbor overlooking Sandy Neck when the morning colors starting pouring onto the marsh. This is a little mini painting - 4x6. A test run for a future painting.

This is so beautiful and restful. Can't wait to see the larger one but I might like to buy this one if it is for sale!!!
